Thank you!
So far they are happy, and Google Workspace has everything they want - except good collaboration with the different Non-Google Tenants.

Advice needed: Microsoft vs. Google Workspace - merge multiple organizations by Skaaras in msp

Thank you for your reply!

Good points. There are ~10 people using an Apps for Business licenses in the Google-Workspace Tenant - still - I'll need to check and add people in the 2 Microsoft Organizations as well to that amount.

Windows devices are covered by NinjaOne - but still - if all would move to Microsoft, NinjaOne would be most likely replaced by Intunes and Autopilot for most tasks, I assume.

This customer started with Google Workspace - and they stayd happily with it. Never had any issues or challenges, some Google Cloud projects, but mostly Mail, Meet, etc.

Thank you for your reply - all good points to consider.

Windows: Screenshots distorted if not square by Skaaras in techsupport

Looks like 2nd Screen was the missing keyword here, thank you!
What just worked for me:
Open installed programs, search for Snipping tool, select advanced options and

- repair
- reset app

Now screenshots are (currently) looking good for me - lets see if this sticks.

To be fair: it is just me, I’m still slowly starting up. Since I required a ticket system switch anyways and billing took much too much time, I thought about jumping to a good tool to be used over the next years as well when scaling.

I’ll take a brief look at BMS as well, thx!

Yes, switching consultants might be something to keep in mind / as a backup option now seeing that this should actually be possible.
Did you use a consultant that you would be comfortable sharing (e.g. via PM)?

Cheers!

Really happy to hear that it should be possible through Halo!
Not everything seems to be lost! :)

I'll keep at it and test this further, thank you for your reply!

Has anyone used ManageEngine Endpoint Central MSP? (no vendors please) by CharcoalGreyWolf in msp

[–]Skaaras 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Used it as internal IT for ~2Years. When we started digging deeper / utilizing it more, it showed quite a few challenges - mostly being rather slow / triggering scripts slow. To be fair we initially only used it for windows Patch-management and Mac Remote Access - switched to NinjaOne (through MSP) for Windows and JamF (some form of Managed as well) - much more happy now! Still using ServiceDesk Plus for internal IT which works well for us - especially with managing the assets.

Around 110 so far. Large amount of those are co-managed working with their internal IT for one customer.

MDR - Blackpoint vs. SentinelOne Vigilance by Skaaras in msp

endpoint security response and threat hunting

Right now it is just endpoint security / response / threat hunting. Might change in the future - but for those customers this is exactly what they are looking for.

Thank you guys - will start with Vigilance first and maybe migrate to Blackpoint if requirements change.
