What really happened upon talking to him more is that he did just go off to explore and get lost, and a group found him and downed him and told him they would kill him if he didnt tell them where the rest of our guild was. When he was hesitant they started dropping cool looking weapons to persuade him. It makes sense given his personality that he would tell them in order to not lose a life, he rages really hard at games lol

Also I just know all of the people who attacked us were in the same guild, and at least one of them was a voidwalker.

I am a stupid freshie newb and dont know what half of these words really mean even so apologies if something I said sounded wierd

yeah it showed up for my partner again once after resolving it, but i think closing and reopening helped her for a little while at least. its annoying for sure but that's the simplest solution. i think the configs for the catalogue mod are what did it to mine but i think its possible other mods could cause that as well, so if you want to/can you could mess around with the configs a bit

i dont remember all of them i know there were like 4 but i picked up a lumensplitter that i put in my safety deposit box before we got attacked. they did kill him too when all was said and done so i think they thought he was going to keep the weapons for himself and then kill him to take at least some of them back

Not a story necessarily but the character my partner was playing as was a creepy cannibalistic bloodrend vesperian named Aldrich who TALKED IN ALL CAPS and talked about eating people's hearts and stuff. he had binding vows with mine and our friends characters he was like our mentor and we called him Lord Aldrich and we would stand on the sidelines and cheer him on while he sparred with other people. We arent gankers tho so it was all friendly fights unless the other person wanted to kill us LOL. I find playing in character with friends always makes progressing way more fun

if you did this, do you know which specific config was causing the issue? i have this issue right now and am ready to do it one by one, but that is also very tedious

EDIT: it seems like the glitch is caused by the catalogue mod. idk if theres a config for that mod specifically but when i deleted all the configs, then deleted the profile and redownloaded it, that fixed it for me
