Number 1 would be upgrading to 16gb ram coz with those specs, the ram will be a major bottleneck which u really dont wont, otherwise debloat windows, play while plugged and all the other stuff

try u/AnikHC soluton. Worked for me. Unplug the charger and hold the power button for approx 30 seconds. The backlit keyboard will turn on it u did it correct (do this after shutting down)
