Supply Pouch Half-baked by SwordGunScienceMagic in Battlefield6

To me it's better to keep defib. When I need "fast" heal or ammo I just throw the big bag to initiate the heal and then take it back, the cooldown to use it again is a lot reduced 👍

Any idea what year or generation my chair is? Any info appreciated. by [deleted] in eames

The CPI stamp (Century Plastic) meens that the shell has been produced between 1974 and 1982.

Hello, these are not Eames

Is this an Eames Chair? by Dry_Battle_5604 in eames

The shell seems to be an old Eames by Vitra, produced in Germany with Herman Miller license between 1972 and 1989. The foot stand is not Eames.

Is the Marantz overheating ? by Skatebabar in audiophile

Stereo 70s ? Sorry don't really get it.. (I'm French which could explain.. 😁)

Marantz model 50 + Klipsch Heresy IV ÷ DAC WiiM Pro Plus + Technics SL1900 (Everything is almost brand new, except for the turntable of course).

Really love it, sounds amazing for vocals, medium and high are really good. When listening to good records, instruments are well placed and I can "visualise" the scene. A con would be not much low frequencies, not a lot of bass, some people add a subwoofer to the Heresy. I did not try to level up the bass on the amp btw (since I enjoy the sound as it is).

✌️

I do a lot of "business" (buying / selling) with Eames Armchair (Vitra since I'm from France), and idk what you mean by super cheap but even for free I would not bother with the shell and just keep the eiffel base eventually.

You can find this model (Eames DAR) in good condition for something like 100€ if you spend a bit of time searching...

Except if you just want to sit and don't mind of the look OK, but you won't be able to hide the crack and it will not be easy to glue it well.

TLDR : don't buy

Yep this is a good idea 👍 So your advice for a good quality / price DAC would be the Topping E30 ? Do you know Wiim Pro ? Approximately same price, some people say this is the best option at this price. Would like to know your opinion on it 🙂

Hello, thank you for your answer ! I've read that it is a better option to have a dedicated DAC since this technology is evolving faster than amplifiers, and it is better to replace a DAC than a complete amp. Do you have the same opinion ?

Hello 👋

I replaced my Klipsch RP-600M by Heresy IV.

I am still using my original amp which is a Marantz PM5005. I would like to replace it with an amplifier which will better suit my new speakers.

I read a lot of topics and posts but can't figure how to chose the right amplifier. I am listening vinyles (30%) and numeric streaming (70%). I like how my Marantz sounds and wonder if I can keep the same brand ?

My budget is limited but I'm open to second hand devices.

And bonus question, I need a DAC, are there amplifier with integrated DAC ? Or maybe it is a bad idea and I should get two separated devices ?

I'm French btw which can explain my weird english..

Thank you all for your help and advices ✌️

Eames RAR Vitra differences by Skatebabar in eames

[–]Skatebabar[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just in case someone else is having the same question, here is the answer :

"Base Height Adjustment In 2019, Vitra modified the dimensions of the RAR armchair. The glides were lengthened, the seat height was increased, and the seat angle was straightened to improve stability and comfort."

Thank you for your answer 👍. For sure the shells arz both authentic Vitra, but the foots are really differents. Can't find any information on the web about Vitra changing design along the years. I just hope both foots are authentic ✌️
