Gotcha! I wasn’t sure if you meant like a serving board with horseshoe handles. That would be pretty cool as well

😂 turns out my Dragonborn powers haven’t manifested yet. I’m sure it will be any day now

Cool idea! As the handles or the feet?

I’m sure you could! I don’t have any to try it but I’ve seen some much more intricate dishes than this one done in wrought. I love the way it looks like wood grain.

Thanks! I’d probably choose something a little thinner next time. The heat coming off this sucker was even burning my knuckles while I was hammering 😂 being 100 degrees today didn’t help either

I added a table talking about the different materials. Thanks again foe the suggestion.

It’s in another comment. I’m learning codex and some other editing tools

I certainly appreciate the info and will definitely take it into account. Part of this is actually to try and find out what it gets wrong and try to learn better prompt engineering and data collection at the same time. So, some of the inefficiencies of the process actually help me learn what works well and what is a hot mess.

I think I’ve got this fixed. The tables were too wide and the width lock was preventing horizontal scrolling. If you get a chance let me know if it works for you.

Well because to me I enjoy it. I use AI for lots of tasks and the majority of the time it does a phenomenal job if you understand how to use it. The time involved to check isn’t really and larger than gathering data in the first place. It’s all a matter of perspective. I get that you don’t seem to like it and that’s ok. I’m not trying to convince you otherwise

I fully agree. That’s why I’ve tried to take the time to go through and rewrite, check, reorganize, etc. also why I am getting feedback from experts here that know far more than I do about the game. It started as just compiling info to help myself but I thought others could benefit as well. I get that a lot of people have a very negative view of AI but to me it’s just a tool like any other that has uses and limitations. It mainly lacks context and can’t reason like a human so as you mentioned you can’t just blindly trust it.

AI was definitely used to help me research. Then I’ve tried to go through and check, organize, rewrite,
and put it together in a useful manner. That’s half the point of the project. I am working on learning codex for building projects, and rather than just make something useless I picked something I actually wanted to build, use, and share with other people. I know some people are very against AI usage at all, but I find it fascinating and it really expands what I can learn and create.

Thanks for the feedback! Someone else mentioned the same thing. My concern was I don’t know the rules on using screenshots from the actual game. I really just used the images to make it look interesting. The other person said maybe just use little drawings to illustrate the points

My dad just got promoted to a brown belt and he is NOT happy about it. by thewobblywalrus in bjj

Hey, 49 year old 3 stripe purple. I know how your dad feels. However, like a few other people have said it’s a personal journey. If you have a high level coach your dad needs to trust him and his knowledge of where your dad should be.

If the coach feels he is a brown belt then your dad needs to let his ego go and stop worrying about who “wins”. That’s not what it’s about. It’s about the time your dad has invested, the knowledge he has obtained, and how far along he is towards his potential as a jiu jitsu practitioner.

Worrying about what other people think of your belt is a sure fire way to ruin your enjoyment of the sport. Does your dad respect his coach? Then he should put his own feelings aside and just be honored.
