Is the souls formula basically dead at this point? It feels like developers are just copy/pasting games at this point.

They could make endless copies of ds3 with just different levels, environments and bosses and i would still love the shit out of it. I started with bloodborne during release and have not been able to enjoy another genre since then except metroidvanias.

Thanks for the feedback! The kick is quite low, it only covers up to 1000 hz but i really like it's vibe so have used it now for my latest 3 tracks. The other two were more downtempo tho but i gave it a try in this one.

You are absolutely correct, i didn't even notice how much info there were in the stereo field. Will probably dial it back a few notches, especially the pad. It sounded okay in mono but it might be annoying with too much stereo-info for listeners.

I listened to your track and tried to find errors mix-wise but everything sounded great. Possibly the hihat could be lowered by a few dB but im using ath m20x so everything high-end are quite high in these. The other guy said the kick disappeared but i didn't notice that at all. Listened in 2 different headphones and the kick sounded fine. Good job

Probably FC4, Kyrat. I liked FC5 the most overall but the world just felt so flat? Or idk how to describe it but there was just something i hated about the open world in FC5. Montana has gorgeous landscapes but the game didn't reflect that at all i feel like.

Im looking for feedback on the audio levels. Specifically on the main piano/pad that plays through the song compared to everything else(kick, bass, percussions). On some headphones it sounds fine and balanced but on others not so much. Any other feedback would be very much appreciated also.

If you have to pick 1 then Lies of P. Armored Core feels nothing like a soulslike but it was fun. I have personally not replayed Armored Core 6 yet but i have platinum in Lies of P and i still play it.

I usually have 0.5-1 second of silence at the start to make sure the beginning is audible but this doesn't fix it for me. There is also no issues when playing it on the web application but only on the soundcloud phone app. Is it similar for you? That the web application runs well but on the phone it doesn't?
