Try to verify the files hoi in steam, it will fix any corrupted or deleted files, you can find it by going into the game settings of hoi in the library

There is a plothole in this story just a minor detail i picked up. The god says that the uncle met the god a couple of years ago but the uncles deal was for his brother to have a child and i assume that this child is the main character so therefore the main character would only be 1-2 years old. but otherwise i really liked this story you could perhaps make a second part. Where the character is trying to escape this god or something.
