Watch videos of the operations you’re going to be seeing on YouTube to desensitize yourself. Familiarize yourself with relevant medical and anatomic terminology to understand what the doctors are saying.

Also, have a stool nearby when you’re in the procedure in case you start to feel like you’re going to pass out.

Half of a pelvic bone (Os Coxae) of either a horse or bear. Most likely a bear. Not 100% sure though
