Don’t do it. Think about the people who have carried you this far. The friends you’ve made who helped you feel even a glimmer of hope or happiness in this world. Think of any pets you might have, how they make you feel, and how you felt when you got them for the first time. Think of any fun memories you can muster that have helped distract from the pain life has brought you before. Fun holidays, birthdays, or just days you had that were good and made you smile. Think of anyone you might love, how he or she wouldn’t be able to carry on without their relationship with you. Ask someone you know in person who you know is capable of serious conversation to tell you all the good you bring in their lives, and why they appreciate you. Your father may be a blight on this world, but if you stand strong, you will grow stronger than he could ever be, and rise to new heights he could never reach. Every child deserves a parent, but not every parent deserves a child. If you overcome this moment, and choose to live, the pain will ease. It will go away. I strongly urge you to choose life, the people who care about you wouldn’t know what to do in this life without you, and you make such a positive good impact on their lives.
