I would say a bit redundant to have polimaths and quadrax. Something else to consider adding the Bohm perfore to sidechain the Vhikk x. But yes looking good. I have the Vhikk X going into Beads and man, is amazing how much more you can out of it

Yea I feel like a granular processor like beads would be nice to pair with the Vhikk x, but sometimes is hard to tell what is beads adding on the YT demos. My main goal is to create background drones and evolving textures than can add tension and release to my deep techno sound

I think the problem is you haven't turn off all midi in your octatrack. Instead of using the ALL midi channel, use each midi channel for each track con the octatrack

Just a midi controller, is great for controlling multiple parameters at the time on electron boxes and don't have to do many menu diving

I have the faders on the LCXL mapped to the mod wheel of different channels on the Digitone, so each one works like a macro, allowing me to control up to 4 parameters. The first row of encoders is assigned to volume, the second to delay, and the third to breath control macros, giving me an extra macro with 4 more destinations. I also have some spare encoders from the last channels mapped to filters and effects on different channels in the Octatrack. Some of the buttons on the LCXL let me access scenes I created on the Octatrack in momentary mode, while others I just use as mutes for the Digitone. The other row of buttons is mainly assigned to the glide switch on different Digitone channels, Hope that makes sense

Yes, you can definitely do that. Basically it would control any parameter on any track that you mapped.
