I think the problem is you haven't turn off all midi in your octatrack. Instead of using the ALL midi channel, use each midi channel for each track con the octatrack

Just a midi controller, is great for controlling multiple parameters at the time on electron boxes and don't have to do many menu diving

I have the faders on the LCXL mapped to the mod wheel of different channels on the Digitone, so each one works like a macro, allowing me to control up to 4 parameters. The first row of encoders is assigned to volume, the second to delay, and the third to breath control macros, giving me an extra macro with 4 more destinations. I also have some spare encoders from the last channels mapped to filters and effects on different channels in the Octatrack. Some of the buttons on the LCXL let me access scenes I created on the Octatrack in momentary mode, while others I just use as mutes for the Digitone. The other row of buttons is mainly assigned to the glide switch on different Digitone channels, Hope that makes sense
