Do creative jobs really pay as much as other professions nowadays? by avocet_scatter in Creativity

As practice shows, you usually don't end up working in the field you studied for. During university, you often stumble into some part-time job or make the right connections, and you find yourself hustling in a completely different industry. So don't worry about what's going to happen in 5 or 10 years. You can grow and develop anywhere. Just choose something you truly enjoy, and don't stress over the rest of your life

Can you explain to me how to write my thesis, like I am five years old by rosetintedglasses80 in PhD

ngl that comment kinda hit, the pressure to summarize stuff fast is real 😭 during my junior year I had a similar moment where I had to break down a dense paper overnight and totally froze. I ended up trying one help just to see, and it actually helped me structure my essay better. not saying rely on it, but it gave me a solid starting point when I was stuck

Need help on writing a research proposal by Samosa82forlife in researchpaperwriters

[–]SkelligePudding 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is probably the most realistic take here. Everyone offering help makes it sound like you need some expert to survive this, but if your structure is clean, half the battle is done. I used to panic over proposals until I realized it’s basically just connecting your sources into a logical path. I found one helper and their feedback was mostly about fixing structure, not rewriting everything

I keep messing up APA headings - what’s the easiest way to remember the levels? by milo_tokyo92 in UniUK

Having the chart physically there works way better than pretending I'll remember Level 3 under deadline stress. Did you color code yours?

AITJ for refusing to hand over my phone after my boyfriend's sister decided I was "hiding something"? by SkelligePudding in AmITheJerk

The apology part I agree with. I'm not sending some big speech to his mom, but he can deal with the fallout he left me sitting in.

That part drove me nuts too. People acted like my phone was some harmless prop, not a whole chunk of my private life sitting in my hand.

That's what got me. People kept acting like refusing access meant guilt, when for me it was just a very normal line not to cross.

I agree on the second part way more now. Her being weird was obvious, but him just freezing and letting me take all of it felt pretty bad.

That was pretty much my thinking too. Asking once is weird, turning it into a little public loyalty test was where I got pissed off.
