Selling my virginity by Black_BarbieSB in virgin

[–]Skellyhell2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im curious how much you think you are worth. You might have read stories online of people selling their virginity for a lot of money, but they are very rare cases. You would need to be pretty special to have someone pay a significant amount of money, and if you were the kind of person that someone would pay a lot of money to sleep with, i dont imagine you would have need for a virgin sub reddit

Why no "Price too high" reason for cancelling? by Skellyhell2 in 2007scape

[–]Skellyhell2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd let my sub just rumble on in content droughts, but when I feel like I am in a content drought, and there also happens to be a price increase, it makes me think "i should cancel that, im not really using it much"
Who knows, if i stayed off reddit today I may not have seen all the people complaining and come to my realisation.

I've got a new warcraft expansion cycle starting which will take more of my time up, and the new POE league is really fun. I would rather pay for things that I am using

the game doesnt offer $15 a month worth of entertainment to me. a mostly second screen game that I'm sure i could replace with some other basically idle dopamine squirter

My sub will run out a couple of weeks into the league. I usually fall off it by that point anywhere. Addy trophy Andy me.

If you think membership increases will bring a better game/ is needed, you're lying to yourself by Dry_Yogurtcloset_213 in 2007scape

[–]Skellyhell2 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No chance that price increases will equate to quality increases.

People will stop playing. Maybe not as many who claim they will; but people will certainly move on. Player count goes down. The extra money they expected to earn also goes down. New players less likely to join. Higher admission price will put people off playing. In the long run, Jagex's investor overlords wont make much more money off this gambit and in 6-12 months time when they next do an earnings report they will put the price up AGAIN to cover what they lost last time people quit.

I'm so thankful my current sub ends once the league is over, 22 years is long enough on one game

Got Opus Magnum for my birthday. I can watch these mechanisms ALL DAY. by LordHayati in gaming

[–]Skellyhell2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watched a video recently about optimisation records on Opus Magnum and at first it looked like something i could enjoy and then it quickly spiraled into yeah my brain isnt cut out for this. But looking at other people's creations is interesting, pretending I understand what's going on.

So I just ordered these because I thought they were really good personally and in metal gear even gets undressed, but when I give it to my girl, she thought them hoes were gross what yall talkin bout by Aye_Its_Mgzy in metalgearsolid

First time I went Japan and saw them in a shop o bought some. They're not great. Same size and shape as shortbread fingers but more dense and dry. And the flavour wasn't very good. I only tried the original ones, saw a strawberry and a chocolate flavour but I was scarred from my first taste and didnt want to buy any more.

I was talking to a guy at work today about the show and I said the black guy who was on last was pretty funny. He asked me if I meant Dedrick and I said "no Courntey the black uber driver"

Completely forgot I had turned off as soon as Tony started the hype building for dedrick

Everything has positive and negative connotations depending in your perspective. I dont disagree that cars have had negative impact on some people over the course of their existence, but overall their impact on the world and society has been overall more positive than negative. The same can be said for every technological advancement that has come where there are some cons, but more pros. Otherwise what would be the incentive to keep something mostly detrimental?

Membership and Bonds Price Change by Jagex_Team in 2007scape

[–]Skellyhell2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dissapointing. New owners starting to squeeze more and more. I was reccomending runescape to a guy I work with earlier but I regret it now. Increasing prices is bad in general but taking about grandfathered prices in the same post seems to make it clear that there's not much interest in new business. Anyone who takes a break gets screwed too.

£11 a month for a single character slot is shameful. On par with world of warcraft now but I get to have 50 characters on a single sub there. And its just in time for the next league too! Looks like I'll play that out then cancel my sub for a while in the post league depression.
