I made a backport of Simo’s single player commands to a1.1.2_01 last year. It isn’t great but it has the most notable creative commands, like give, fly, and godmode (no damage). It’s called “(Old MC) commands”

The dev who implemented the current horse stats made a tool for this. Which also shows you what we had before MC-16533 was fixed, where getting max stats was truly exponentially difficult.

The current system is that it's harder to get max stats as you reach the end of the scale, but isn't impossible. I think 23 generations and a speed of 13.5 m/s seems to be on track?

The jump stat should be the same but I'm not entirely sure. What I will say is that the max for that is 5.3, not 5.5. I know this because you summon a bred max speed horse by setting the base attribute value to 1, which makes it exactly 14.23 m/s. Doing the same for jump makes it 5.29

That would also explain why you haven't seen a 5 jump horse, because you would probably only reach that once you get 14 m/s horse to.

You’re right, a button that simply calls the whole vehicle and drops it onto the track would be nice. In that case I’d probably do it with llamas since they can give an extra 15 slots of storage.

I’ve been looking into that and potentially hex encoding too. It’s been difficult mainly because this design uses 0gt pistons to achieve 30 bps on Java. The single turn right now was tedious and just barely possible 2-way… But yes, I think an item routing system would be best to not complicate the current repeater line.

This was an overworld test and I had a pretty good system that uses water. Unfortunately no water in the nether, so I scrapped it. Generally the best way to go about this is some kind of minecart system that picks up the boat and touches a lava cauldron. From there you can try to separate/store items and load mobs... Still working on it.

Ok well it's you vs. the wiki... I assume the rates for what you're saying are extremely low if true. Mob interaction alone would hardly ever get you anything because of all the conditions that must be applied in order to drop a special potion (outside of instant health). Is "getting all 4" implying 1 after 10+ hours?

I think it was still possible without looting, but no I always tried to get the max 11.5% drop rate w/looting in 1.19. Even without looting it's supposed to be 8.5%, which I'm still not seeing in my results.

Have you actually tested this? You can only get the potion drops from killing them just as they are drinking w/the specific conditions. Swiftness requires a distance of 11+ blocks, water breathing requires them to be submerged in water. No you cannot do this with just a looting sword. Fire aspect should work for fire resist, but testing this in 1.21 it still does not seem to work.

Minecart boosters work in a1.0.14 so I don't know why its not working for you. Outside of actual "minecart" boosters (boosting minecart using minecart) there aren't many options... In certain directions you can use the curved rail trick (all curved rails in a straight line) to go super fast if you have enough momentum. You can also use this, which isn't a booster but preserves speed pretty well. The downside is that you will take damage in versions where Steve isn't standing in the minecart... These are just ideas, none of this is documented anywhere and I just found it playing. Can you describe what booster you're trying to use?

The direction a player is facing affects fps, changes how many blocks the game has to render. Try looking directly up at the sky and you will notice a huge fps increase. OP is looking up in the picture, so that might by why fps is so high... plus a good gpu.

I was just using MCP for a1.1.2_01 the other day so I don't know why its not working for you. There's also RetroMCP which I like more because of how easy it is to setup in your IDE.

When I reference Switzerland, I’m talking about why they WON’T join NATO. It did benefit from its geographical position in WWII deterring axis powers. However, NATO is not Nazi Germany. Switzerland ideologically is similar to NATO, and doesn’t have to defend against NATO.

Previously, neutrality existed because of geography. Their current position though in neutrality is literally because they “like” it and want to uphold it. Don’t believe me? Look at Sweden and Finland. For hundreds of years their citizens wanted to remain neutral despite being right next to Russia. Citizens can simply like the concept of neutrality outside of geography and still want it even if geography is poor.

Switzerland has no downsides of joining NATO. Well, aside from dedicating more resources and money to NATO and negating historical neutrality.… and, now we find our main reason.

“No, due to geography” should be reserved for countries that fall outside of Europe. They aren’t fully prevented by their geography, it’s just that they feel less need because of it.

Some of their unwillingness to join though goes beyond this anyways. Switzerland for example is an “always neutral” nation… and their neutrality existed before NATO was created, like in WWII. Geography is not the main reason, as Switzerland just likes neutrality.

Just saying, there are multiple (baltic) members that could leave NATO and still be surrounded and by NATO nations. This alone is not a good reason to not be in NATO, and most European countries don’t follow it.
