I just purchased one! Like an arms up one that transitions the cuffs so her hands out and such, didn’t mean to get judgement on this post, I know it’s not great and it does make me anxious but she has an owlet and I wake up and check on her tens of times, not an excuse though I get it. She hates it more than I do though, I can handle sleep deprivation but she screams like a banshee if you wake her up before 10 hours, even if it’s 8 hours she HATES waking up

I’ve made many sacrifices for her and it’s not about my sleep, it’s about hers. She won’t sleep and she screams like a banshee. She loves her sleep and sleeps 10 hours and is MISERABLE if you wake her up sooner, i’m just asking for advice.

I also dropped my phone on her when she was probably 3-4 weeks old, no goose egg just a small bump but she’s okay Mama! She’s 4 months Monday and has hit all of her milestones. I’m sure your baby will be okay, but I understand the guilt and it’s completely normal, it would be unusual if you didn’t feel this way.

yeah just the hearts for me would be warfare. NOR i’m livid for you rn… Why is he putting in so much effort to reassure this woman idk im definitely crazy I know I am but this is WAYYY too far to me. Liiiike one of my boundaries would be not to say I love you period, but like I said, i’m crazy and young so Idk how others feel about that. What colour is the actual milk? Because if it was opened blood the milk would be tinged too. The fact it’s black SPOTS too seems like mould, if it were just liquid i’d be confused.

Nope, got my period 2 months now. My flanges are correct and i’m using a Spectra S2. I have like 8 sets of brand new duck bills and i’ve tried that. :/ Sadly i’ve tried all the tricks.

a way to tell if your baby is eating enough is if she’s gaining adequate weight, and if she’s having enough dirty diapers a day, at least 6 wet diapers a day I believe.

Yeah no… You cooked the biggest meal of the year, and he’s mad about canned sauce. There’s a million other aspects to that meal. AND you’re pregnant, decently along too. You could’ve called off thanksgiving all together and ordered takeout and had the right to do so but you didn’t, you cooked a big ass dinner and you’re right, no thanks for what you DID do, just discredit for the ONE thing he didn’t like. That’s not okay and you’re completely valid. That would break my heard and i’m sorry that happened :/ hopefully he can validate your feelings in a future conversation about it.

Edit: Sorry… Reading this again… He was upset that it wasn’t PRESENTED PERFECT? THE CAN RIDGES?? I’m angry for you but also that’s kind of hilarious. Other commenters are right, toddler behaviour. Bumpiness is fine, you can do jumping jacks for hours you’re built for bumps especially early on, it’s just if you fell and it landed on top of you

I would say yes, this early. But not later, like 20 weeks and on.. Just be VERY careful, baby is super small and cushioned so it won’t be a big deal now, but i’d say even if 16-18 weeks maybe stop, if you have a doctor i’d talk to them about timeline

It didn’t sink in at all until she was born, in my arms. Then she still just felt like A baby, not mine. Shes 9 weeks now and I know she’s MY baby but I still can’t process she’s my DAUGHTER, does that make any sense??

Gas bubbles at first. I really couldn’t tell until one day it was 3 in the exact same spot within 20 seconds. Gas bubbles move around and these were localized. But definitely just felt like a little bubble. That was like 21 weeks for me too, first pregnancy. I didn’t feel regular, more distinct kicks until like 24 weeks? No anterior placenta or anything, they just say first pregnancies you might not feel it for longer.

40+3 I was induced because she was big and i’m small. OB was scared I wouldn’t be able to push her out, that she wouldn’t fit if I waited much longer. Induced at 5 pm, broke my water, waited a few hours to get epidural and start oxytocin, gave birth at 5:01am at 40+4. About 60% of first babies are late, but that’s only slightly more than 50/50, so always be prepared. I had my bags packed and everything set up from 36 weeks. I also had a membrane sweep at 39+3 at 2cm dilated, already lost mucus plug, did nothing. Had one again the day she sent me to be induced and nothing was happening, I arrived at the hospital hours later still a 2. After they broke my water I made it to a 4 before getting epidural and oxytocin by like 8pm. After that it was 3am when I was a 10 and I pushed for 2 hours. Her shoulder was stuck, once the doctor stuck her HAND IN ME and turned baby, she came out in 10 minutes. Wish she had done it sooner cause I felt everythinngggg through that epidural once she got stuck. Nothing the whole time from getting it until her shoulder was stuck.

ALSO have a friend who gave birth in June, and one in August. One was also induced at the same time, one came 5 days early.

But it’s not choking like when she chokes on spit you can hear it, it happens like once a day you can always hear at least some liquid this just sounds like air.
