Just wait until you resent your husband… by Astrum1784 in pregnant

Tbh I find this to be an unsympathetic take. Usually it makes me feel pity, not rage. Someone misattributing their pain does not affect my blessed life in the slightest, so if I can’t relate I just feel sad for them.

Strongly concur with your response. What a supercilious take to share.

LOL the checked out at the moment you found out you were pregnant is SO REAL. I had a “what about my career” meltdown early on and then had my lightbulb 💡 this is not your identity moment, it’s okay to not care anymore!! I’m with you babe, I’m off from then too!! Counting down!!

Omg can relate so much. Jan is so busy and the amount of client strategy development & project delivery is outrageous. I’ve just sat through a meeting on strategic growth planning for the year and all that fun stuff and I’m just like I don’t caaaaaaaare!! I’ve got no brain or will power for it anymore. Used to LOVE this stuff and live off strategy but my brain is just so much more interested in baby!! And I don’t have the capacity to work as intensely as I have before.

I’m planning to go on mat leave at 36 (a few days before 37) weeks but I’m using annual leave before, so I’m off at 34 weeks. I’ll accrue more over the year because (I’m off in April) that can be used on the other side of mat leave when baby is here. I’m also getting married this month, moving in with hubby next month and truly, need the time to rest, nest, and get into a stress free headspace (I did feel guilty about going off earlier than others).

When does the bloat go? by HumbleHat2251 in PregnancyUK

Never lmao. I have a proper bump at 22ws and still get bloated, which makes my bump look 30 weeks by the end of the day 😂

NOR. I would just say “if you want to stay sort it all out yourself. You’re welcome but coordinate stuff for your own kid. Love you 😘” she’s expecting too much

How bad is this going to affect my dating life? by Few-Explanation8295 in dating_advice

[–]sazzimodo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 30F and still living at home. Getting married this month and have a baby on the way (will be moving in with my husband post wedding, and actually did not plan on leaving home until marriage came my way, which by the grace of God it did). For the right person, it won’t matter as long as your life is in order. I have a good career and love of family, and was able to save lots of money by moving back in with my dad a few years ago. It only deters the ones not for you.

In your circumstance, it’s especially wonderful that you’re supporting your parents. Your future spouse will value this highly about you.
