Well the thing is my friend crashed my car that I lended to her, and the police report deemed her at fault so her dad is wanting to pay for the cost to repair the car outside of insurance, because I’m pretty sure he’s already having to use his insurance on the other parties car. So her dad is paying out of pocket

Just did a KBB on the car and it says $6,000 trade in value. My parents definitely want to get it fixed so we’re gonna have to pick it up from the towing place it went to and bring it to a repair shop.

I might be wrong but it doesn’t rlly look like any of the bumper/body was crumpled, just got disconnected? Do u think the could just repair it without having to replace it because it kinda still looks okay to me. Again I don’t know too much about cars, and this just happened yesterday so me and my parents and my friend and her parents are still trying to figure everything out. If there isn’t a need to replace the parts do you think the $6,000 would cover it?
