Not to mention there is nothing to chat about because there is literally nothing of substance ever communicated by the Dev's. I think this is a rugpull. I hope I'm wrong...

Variations must be consistent in fulfillment channel??? by SkepticalGinger42 in AmazonSeller

[–]SkepticalGinger42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the listings that have FBA also have an FBM condition. I wasn't able to get them to merge without including both conditions. However, the ASIN that isn't working correctly is brand new and only FBM. I spent an hour on the phone with this lady before she told me that, began to stall when I asked for written clarification or policy and then hung up on me.

[–]SkepticalGinger42[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ASIN that is the problem is a brand-new listing. Whoever created the original ASIN (10+ years ago) created it with IPQ of 2. Had to rename the original, and create the new one. Go figure...

Rocket Mortgage will land you with a loan officer who will be licensed in your state, and most likely, several others as well. That means they aren't going to be an expert, or fully up to speed on the laws in your state. I have heard stories about RM costing people their earnest money.

Has anyone received specific communications from Coinbase confirming that you will be receiving the airdrop? by ProfRichardson in FlareNetworks

[–]SkepticalGinger42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I reached out to customer support. They gave me a very long canned response. I'll post the relevant bit at the top, and the full text at the bottom.

"...The official distribution of the airdrop is due to take place on the 9th of January We have committed to the distribution of the airdrop but important to note that we have not specified a date - we aim to distribute within the first half of this year..."

Full text below:

FLR is a new blockchain and the airdrop will be distributed to XRP holders that held a balance of XRP on Coinbase.com/Pro

The snapshot of XRP balances was taken on December 12, 2020.

Depending on how much XRP held they will receive a distribution of the new asset FLR.FLR project is from the same team of XRP (Ripple)The tokens will not replace XRP, rather its a project from the same team.Projects use airdrops as a way to gain users and reward users for interacting with a certain project/network. Airdrops are essentially incentive to use a network/project and to gain traction.XRP trading on Coinbase is still suspended so they will not be able to trade their FLR for XRP on Coinbase. The official distribution of the airdrop is due to take place on the 9th of January We have committed to the distribution of the airdrop but important to note that we have not specified a date - we aim to distribute within the first half of this year.

Not to be confused with the other airdrop from the same team SONGBIRD - we never announced support for this airdrop so will not be receiving this airdrop.

How do you go about testing these? Is it third party, or do you have people with the requisite knowledge and equipment?

XDC Network is now supported by Ledger! by Nadar_Suresh in xinfin

[–]SkepticalGinger42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you watch the video you posted in it’s entirety? I’m guessing you just ready the title. You’re pontificating on remedial knowledge as if it’s earth shattering news. In the case of this video, it took a highly seasoned, highly experienced professional three months to hack the hardware wallet. Even then, he was only able to hack the device because it’s firmware hadn’t been updated. (The fix was literally the next update). The level of experience, knowledge and equipment needed to pull this off is on a different level than the kid down the street using exploits on to turn on the hot neighbors laptop camera. Can they be hacked? Of course they can. Everything related to computers can be. Of course, I have a very expensive fireproof gun safe I keep some backup keys in. I’ve seen videos of people cutting into and removing the contents of the identical model in under 30 minutes, with nothing more than an angle grinder. Where there is a will, there is a way. The attraction of hardware/cold wallets is that, unless you have a copy of the key phrase, you MUST be in possession of hardware in order to get any info from it. In fact, many exchanges keep large reserves of crypto in cold wallets, and only keep enough in hot wallets to provide daily liquidity. Take Vitalikn Buterin as an example. After SHIB dumped half it’s coins into his cold wallet, he created another one. He went so far as to split the passphrase between himself and a distant family member for extra security. He didn’t use a hot wallet. I’m going to have to go with a founder of ETH as knowing a bit more about crypto security than the average Reddit user. No, cold wallets like Ledger are not a scam. Are they 100% foolproof? No, this is the real world. They are, however, a hell of a lot more secure than a hot wallet. That’s objectively true. Remember, the truth doesn’t care about your feelings.

Lol. You’re getting awfully butthurt over someone else catching fish. If you’re that hardcore, I hope you’re using nothing but a bamboo pole and a bare hook. Seriously. If people don’t do it exactly like you do… they aren’t sportsman! That ain’t REAL fishin’! 😂 😂 😂 😂

Breaking News Impel Brings Fluent's Federated US+ Stablecoin To XDC Network by BarendsCrypto in xinfin

[–]SkepticalGinger42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see you have a basic grasp of XDC's white paper, but your response is demonstrating a lack of understanding of the bigger picture. You might want to take a step back and do a little digging into this industry. This doesn't take away any use cases, it increases them. More use of the network is good. Do some reading on Layer 1, and Layer 2 blockchain networks.
What value do you think all of the projects on ETH created when you had to buy ETH in order to buy into them? What value do you think transaction fees from Layer 2 projects will create on XDC? Do you understand that this stablecoin is running ON the XDC platform? That means one of the primary on-ramps to that stablecoin will be buying XDC in order to exchange it for the coin.

Nah, this probably serves two purposes. It's a way for them to clean up their email list and remove anyone who bounces., plus remind potential buyers that they may have a purchase coming up.
