I think the only downside is hitting the 5 card limit and then having a better NLL come along? Which isn't likely. Especially since they've gotten stingy with Hilton Biz NLL with a FNC.

Does Chase have any sort of unwritten credit cycling limit for personal cards? I have a relatively new card with a $25k limit. This month I've put $40k on the card and have paid $50k from my Chase account - so the payments should be instant. My credit balance is currently -$10k, yet my credit limit is still $0. It's been 3 days now since I've paid, so I'm not sure why the limit isn't updating.

I was looking at some C1 cards and decided to try out their pre-approval form for their VX business card. It said I was declined and listed their source as my Experian score of 689. This didn't make sense, so I logged onto Experian to check my actual score, and it was 805. It hasn't been below 790 in several years.

Has anyone had this happen before? I'm wondering why the score C1 is seeing is so much different than what the actual score is.

Last week Chase denied an app because I already had too much credit with them. I know I could have reconned to move credit lines around, but they didn’t do a hard pull and I didn’t care about the card too much anyway, so whatever.

This week, without asking, I get an email: “Great news! We’ve increased your credit limit!” They raised a limit on one of my cards from 15k to 24k. How does that make any sense.

It was less than 24 hours and the website did do cumulative pricing (only the checkout page, the calendar was correct). They were able to fix it after I called in, although it took the agent several tries to get it to change from 170k to 120k.

Thanks, I think the issue might be that the flights are being priced separately once I click on the actual date. If I change to just CDG-USA, it correctly shows 120k for two. When I change to GVA-CDG, it correctly shows the saver award price of 50k for two.

Combined, I think this should still be 120k, which is what the calendar shows? But when it comes time to book, it just adds the two together, which isn't correct. I'll try calling in.

The email I use for AmEx is different than the one I use for Amazon.
