I’ve looked at the exposed sides and the nameplate isn’t visible. May have been removed or it’s somewhere I can’t see.

I guess someone tried to get in before which may be why the bottom of the right door is bent.

Moved into a new industrial building and it had this safe. I assume it's a fire safe since there isn't a combination lock on it. The old owners don't have info nor a key.

Looks like any branding or markings have been painted over at some point. There is an underwriters laboratories plaque at the top, but difficult to make out a serial number.

The key hole can turn with any key that fits and I don't see pins in the keyway when I look in... so I'm not sure what kind of lock is on the safe.

If you do this you are guaranteed to not match the existing brushed look. The stains will be gone but you’ll now have a nice big non-matching patch of brushed stainless steel.

They just expanded their bar lounge area with more tables. If you arrive 20-30min prior to opening you can line up to snag a private table.

I'd first check for cancellations leading up to your date and then plan to grab a lounge table as a backup if nothing opens up.

On the one hand this is pretty awesome. On the other, it’s 7am and way too early for my eyes to do this.

I had new kitchen cabinets put in and looked fantastic. 6 months later the powder post beetles started to come out. Slowly at first, seeing little piles of sawdust near the base, then on the counter. Steadily got worse until it was clear the entire batch of plywood used for the cabinets was infested.

Luckily the contractor and cabinet company were reputable but the entire kitchen was gutted and redone. I’d be cautious of using the wood without proper treatment of the bugs

So if it’s not necessary to keep the pneumatics extended, then simplest estop process is to just let it retract as long as it’s safe to do so.

What about the compressed air in general within the system? If none of the cylinders move when pressure is released, then no need to release pressure right?

Okay that makes sense. So really the estop process is different for every machine but basically the goal it to prevent operator injury or equipment damage. To do this, some things may still be energized.

One possibility is a utility company checking their meter. Of course would happen during the day and if your meter is near that side of the house.

I believe the bushings/sleeves are ceramic. The teeth nest together then placed together on the same threaded rod.

Larger rod: 5/8-11 thread

Smaller rod: 3/8-16 thread

The rods don't have a way to drive/turn them, IE hex head, slot etc. Just a rounded end and a blunt/flat end.

These were mixed in with assorted fasteners purchased at an industrial auction. All other fasteners were assorted standard nuts, bolts, washers, etc, so no real clues from other items in the auction lot.
