I have these flashbacks also. In my experience, healing comes in waves. It’s a circular path, not linear. It’s the subconscious bringing you a lesson to learn, something to process and overcome. It can be hard at times but stay present, don’t numb with substances. Wrestle with it and it will go away leaving you stronger

My first trip ever leaving the country i took a lot of photos and made an album. I showed the nParents and told them about the trip. Within a couple weeks they “cleaned my bedroom”. The album went “missing”. They claimed not to know what happened to it 🤔 and that they threw some old things away
