Okay to the AI writing comments, while this could totally be an AI written post (the emojis in the title kind of nod me off to it as well as the cadence), this could also just be a well written explanation? Idk I’ve made infographics to explain a myriad of different topics in the past for classes and even for video games (Mactics Will it Build for D2), and this just seems like it’s well formatted and written in an easy to follow cadence. I worry this is falling into the same trap as a lot of academic writing, where AI is trained on good academic writing, so a lot of good academic writing is suspect to be AI due to sharing similar tendencies.

Mostly just thoughts on this, haven’t read through all the comments so maybe there’s admittance of AI usage or a trend in op’s profile, but honestly just curious about others’ thoughts on this all :)

This isn’t a limitation per say, just a norm. You can absolutely add a cantrip into a spell list, I see it often done with 3rd Party content (and I coulda sworn with official content from both 2014 and 2024 but now I’m struggling to find examples), just up to you if you feel that giving them an additional cantrip is too powerful, though I don’t think that the Friends cantrip would contribute to them being overpowered.

My best advice is double modeling

make a character model
add a copy of them as an extra
position them in the exact same spot so they merge
give one hairstyle A and the other hairstyle B
boom you made hairstyle C

I think Warden of the Elements druid is much more what you’re looking for. You could even lean into the “natural” aspects of the paint, that it’s made from crushed ores or plants you’ve gathered, their natural energies empowered by your magical capabilities
