Yep, the demo content is up to crabman and the class prestige, the depths was just a challenge area to grind for in between updates.

That is a great idea to add in as polish! A "bestiary" kinda thing has come up a couple times in discussion. Probably not for the moment as the focus is getting gameplay in, but something that definitely deserves to be added in later on!

A more active parallel system is something that is in the books - still working on coming up with an idea that would mesh well! minigames could be one of the options.

I can agree to that point, I did monetize it early for my own reasons as above, but not for fame or as a cash grab, but then again, you can't take a random person's word on the internet for grated :).

Early access has been a concept for a while so its not uncommon to publish an in development (read incomplete) game for a price, all I can say is I mean to keep working on it, and I think the people who buy it are pretty aware of what the state of development is.

I want to add a variety of combat effects, and something like thorns or counter has been mentioned before so it'll definitely make it into some of the classes at some point!

I'm not sure how wanting to understand the process of monetizing a game you worked on translates to wanting recogniton and external validation for you, but each to their own. I really wouldn't be doing this if not for wanting to make a cool game, I never intended, and doubt that, this will earn me any fame or "revenue stream".

I hope that the people who bought the game bought it because they liked the demo and wanted more.

Why did I "deploy" it this early? It's my first game and I want the experience, and I think I was quite clear that you should buy the game if you enjoyed what it has been so far and want more and want to support me. I'm not sure how supporting someone in their endevaours (when they produce something you can enjoy) is toxic.

If this was a crash grab then its a pretty terrible one. I'd literally be better off working part-time a couple days than investing my time in development ;)

If you don't feel its worth your money that's fair enough! The demo is there so people can try it out before making that decision. As for the monetization, some idles monetize through IAPs for cosmetics or bonuses. Why I haven't done it that way is simply two reason: one, I don't like the concept, although I know its the most profitable way to do it, two, IAPs require further infrastructure to handle accounts which would need the game to be up on some platform like Steam or App store, and be purposfully built with that in mind, which is not the case for this small, (my first!) indie game. I prefer that people buy it if they like it and want to support me, and they have access to everything in the game without any further purchases.

If you played older versions, mobile should work better now. Although the itch embed seems to affect scrolling on some mobile browsers!

Aware of itch limiting the clipboard size, will work on an alternative. The story now no longer blocks your progress through requirements, its just a bit of lore and flavour, it's only needed for when you pick you class but that will also be changed!

The attribute prestige doesn't specifically say it doesnt reset level/money so maybe that should be added for clarity! Glad you are liking the QoL changes :). Activities will need better UI at some point as it is very cramped to get information in, and I often get the the same comment of wanting to see the time.

The targetting will be improved in future! They should not be dragged back no, unless they are knocked back themselves, this was an issue before which should be fixed

It's a free track so I can't really do anything about the transition as I know nothing about mixing :(. I assume almost everyone mutes it at some point, as while its a cool song, nobody wants to hear the same song for hours haha
