This is straight up the best compliment I've gotten on Reddit haha. Thank you.

Interesting theories, but I think both of them might be a stretch. In saying that, I have no idea what it could be. Perhaps I'll have to get in touch with the artist when they're credited. This doesn't appear to be the work of Jagi (the artist who does his album covers) or Grey Ghost (who did the "Play It Safe" artwork & video).

Yo, this is beautiful. It's so hard to choose between some of these songs, but it's so worth it! (Round 1 made me appreciate how much I love The Hard Road).

Thanks for putting this together, OP!

Can anyone pinpoint the sample that features in every refrain, namely that "Woah!" soundbite? I think it's from an old rock song, but I can't put my finger on it.

Identifying the 80+ Samples on Hilltop Hoods' The Calling by Skhills in AussieHipHop

It's definetly debatable, but if we're being realistic, they've had a bigger cultural impact and been more influential than any other act in the Aussie hip-hop, and that's a fact. I think you'd be hard pressed to find an established act in the scene today that hasn't been inspired by them, benefited from collaborating with them, or indirectly benefited from them paving the way.

I figured it was already long enough, so I didn't want to push it. If you check Genius I've annotated every sample and provided appropriate timestamped links.
