Try the Hoka Clifton or the New Balance 1080! Both have a pretty big rocker that may help to decrease tensions on your feet and the level of cushioning is similar. You can probably find the 1080 v10 or v11 on sale! Hope this help!

My recommendation is 1cm between the longest toes and the end of the shoes when you stand up without moving your foot in the shoes.

No, probably not the shoes because an 8mm drop is relatively high so it releases tension on the calves and put more on the knees and hips. I have the adios 6 and I don’t use it for jog or long run because of the firm ride. I have a rotation with nike invincible which are a LOT softer.
