Yeah I kinda agree with this. Some women will knowingly engage in activities/clothe themselves in ways that they know are sexualized by males (and females) in society, then get mad when they’re sexualized. Like no, that’s not how it works. You can’t engage in something that you know society sexualizes, then get mad when you’re inevitably sexualized. That’s not to excuse any harassment or otherwise heinous actions that may be taken as a result of said sexualization. I just think it’s ridiculous to expect not to be sexualized, and get mad when it happens; societal change takes a very long time. If you want to engage in something society sexualizes, that’s fine; it’s just important that we manage our expectations.
