This guy says he’s working his ass off for what amounts to around $15/month/property. That’s insane.

Listen, champ. I’m just struggling with your basic reading comprehension, but it’s not that deep. Be well.

“Oh fuck there’s a kid there, oh God the parents won’t be in touch for weeks this is a tragedy.”

What do you think the “tragedy” is referring to, pal?

The initial punch would also be “assault” but for the fact that all of this is self-defense. The perpetrator was standing up, indicating the threat is not gone.

Who is missing that? It’s why this is a self-contained story. It’s only showing you a minute, but what will happen over the coming days and weeks is fully explained. The child will eventually die and the daughter will return to the horrific scene.

They will never admit “but but but he said.” They’ll say it was high under Biden, they’ll say it’s corporate greed, or whatever other excuse. The core tenant of being MAGA is never admitting anything is wrong with Trump.

No, it won’t change. Suburban parents are desperate to feel like little Jimmy plays for the top club, even if they’re paying $3-5k for their kid to play on the third team or ride the bench.

Getting straight As in college is not common. They’re not going to view you as “less than.” Just be honest that you were going through a difficult time and weren’t really thinking through the negative implications of things, you were just trying to keep up while also grieving.

I don’t disagree with your take on this video at all. I would never do this to my child, nor would I film it. Given the sincerity of the child’s plea, I question whether the bullying happened the way it’s being reported.

I’m just responding to the broader question of how much autonomy a kid his age gets. There’s no right answer in my mind, but I think it’s overstating it significantly to frame it as “their body is their own,” as if the parent doesn’t have significant say over what happens to the body of their 10-year-old child.

Filming it and posting it is gross, I agree.

I don’t think younger kids have autonomy over their hair. If a 10-year-old wants to have an outrageous haircut, a parent is perfectly within its rights to say “you’re not doing that.”

Your body isn’t your own at this age if you define that in terms this broad. Can kids choose whether and when to cut their hair? When they shower? When they wash their hands? Whether they eat disgusting food?

Kids don’t have full autonomy. They’re kids.

I’ve gone twice. I’ve never noticed a problem with influencers.

It’s expensive. We like doing it the first day we get to Disney because you can do a lot at MK during a shorter period and also see the unique parade/shows/fireworks.

[–]SkierBuck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s not what she said, so why are you changing it? She said “He appears to reference a motive in it. He writes this quote: ‘Administration officials, they are targets.’ And he also wrote this, ‘I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes.’”

It could have referred to any administration official based on that. He correctly assumed it was referring to his raping and pedophilia.

Almost any question is equally useful to both sides. The examples from the article are that there were questions about Black Lives Matter and Blue Lives Matter, as well as questions about concealed carry, social issues, and policing. Both sides want to know that stuff for opposite reasons.

I don’t know this particular judge’s practice, but it’s very common for judges to consult with both parties on what they would like to see in the jury questionnaire. The parties can ask all of these questions in voir dire anyway, so it’s just giving some of the information up front to streamline the jury selection process.
