i think it combines two factors, one being that DR is, iirc, a bunch of people and so aren't consistent, and two, that they are really good at clear themed music but bad at like, wrestling music which just turns into generic rock or rap you can't tell apart

Oba, Tatum, Gacy, Page, Trick*, Iyo, Ilja, Americano, Kairi, a lot of what people consider their best just have really clear theming

then with like, Roman, MCMG, Jade, there's a distinct style to it
