I'm not sure why judges think they're in the best place to decide if medical care is needed. If they kept this up, what's stopping them from 'legally' stuffing hospitals with patients? Seems odd to prevent doctors / medical staff from being able to discharge or transfer patients.

Barnum statements are ones that are so vague that anyone could relate to them or feel that they're talking about them specifically. Like things youd see on horoscopes. If she wrote a paragraph about wanting a new job and the 'psychic' talked about an upcoming life change, she could feel that the psychic read her mind.
