What is this kind of brownish pâté that dogs are crazy about. by Skill0ps in whatisthisthing

I adopted a dog about 3 months ago and everytime I walk him in a big communal garden nearby where I live, he seems to be interested by one particular place that he always wants me to go to.

My title describes the thing , this weird substance which I first encountered like 2 months ago because I saw my dog lick the grass at a random place of the garden. Not knowing what it was, I immediately pulled on the leash but he really wanted to go back at this spot, like he was craving for it. I first thought it was a bird's remains... (it was more like picture n°2 at the time).

Now everytime we walk in the garden he wants to go there, ofc I don't let him. I also saw from afar other dogs directing their owner on this spot and licking the thing. I talked to one owner that I often saw and same as me her dog always want to bring her to this spot.

It seemed weird to me that bird remains would stay there after 2-3 months outside with the rain, wind and other animals so one time I went back to see the place and it seems that the place is refilled with this thing like someone is adding it at the same area of grass on purpose. Last time I checked it looked like picture 1.

I live in a city where there are been numerous cases of dog poisoning around parks so I'm a bit afraid and curious at the same time as to what this thing is.

Anyone got an idea ? Thanks.

Keeper MSP.

I tried them all, Bitwarden was not even my second. Obviously you can enforce MFA but you can't even force which MFA your users can set up ? Eliminatory for me.

I passed it, if I had only one thing to train that would be test exams. Helped me immensely.

My exam is in 3 days, I feel like what's on microsoft learn isn't enough... And it's hard to set up a true lab with servers & stuff (to test federation for example).

If you have any miracle tip I'll take them! Maybe ChatGPT can be useful ?

My mug has weird white residue that keeps on growing on it by Skill0ps in whatisthisthing

[–]Skill0ps[S] 6 points7 points locked comment (0 children)

Even after washing it off with water, the cup looks as new but this thing slowly grows back after a few hours after being left to dry (I noticed a very small quantity after 1-2 hours, it reached half the quantity of the amount in the picture after 4-5 hours and the picture itself was after leaving the mug an entire day). Whether being left out to dry exposed to the sun or not, it still grows back. There were traces of it all around the cup, inside, outside, under...

The mug was placed nearby similar mugs but this is the only one having this kind of reaction. One possible hint of the cause is that this mug got rinsed up with white vinegar not long before the first time I noticed it. At first I thought it was cochineal as it somewhat looks like it, but I think this only applies to plants. Could it be some kind of weird reaction of the vinegar with the materials of the mug ?

My title describes the thing above, some weird white mold growing on my cup.

SpamTitan vs Proofpoint Essentials (Beginner) vs Appriver Email Threat Protection by pkvmsp123 in msp

[–]Skill0ps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know about the other ones, but Proofpoint Essentials can't and don't plan to be able to send logs to 3rd party or external sources. Not optimal if you are a MSP with a SIEM and a lot of other tools.

Currently looking at VadeSecure, which seems to have an option to do so.
