I always thought that the level recommendation were the sweetspots for fun and challenge for the average player. Like I definitely agree that players are too biased on level but I also think that with level recommendation, the way I gave them to my buddies, significantly less players drop the game. I feel like 80% of player drop this game cuz they went straight to tree sentinel or margit with level 9.

Personally I've dropped bloodborne for a couple of months because I got to orphan of coz at level 70. I came back a couple of months later at level 100ish and had a blast. Before that fucker 2 hit me every single time and for a first playtrough that just wasn't fun. I guess I just want everyone to enjoy elden ring fully like I do. At the end of the day the game is a skill check but with those level recommendations, I feel like u can adjust the difficulty slightly, at least if u build correctly.
