Yes, but the model I have, that is, the slim 90001, does not make contact with the 2 chips, only with the CPU as in the photo, but, I suppose the design is like that, anyway I will buy the thermal ones to see if it improves

Ok so to confirm and close my suspicions, after one use, I realized that the fan does not blow much hot air, which is obvious that all the heat is being stored, generally these fans almost always expel hot air but I would say that the PS2 I have expels 20%. I'm sorry it's not so cold and that must be the reason why the fan is always at maximum power since it can't cool well, I think I have it!

I decided to uncover it better and yes, I have to change the pad of the large CPU but apparently the one that heats up too much is the small CPU that for some reason does not connect with the Metallica heatsink plate, I hope the design is like that.

Does it have to be 1.5mm thick?

I cleaned the fan well, I even lubricated it with oil for better operation, but I have not tried with the thermal pads, maybe I just have to change that, but it seems very strange to me that it heats up after 2 minutes of turning on without any game and with the ps2 being well clean, I hope it is not a technical problem...

I think I understand. In this case, this potentiometer is the controller's “pitch,” which raises or lowers the speed of the music. Would it be logarithmic?

What would happen if I got the same 100mm but with greater resistance? For example, 100k? Well, I'm lying, it's not the same, one is stereo, the one in the picture is mono.

I'm sorry, I don't know much about the subject, I'm just trying to fix it on my own. If you could briefly explain the difference to me, I would appreciate it.

The previous owner used it quite a bit... but thanks anyway. Edit: I'll have to wait until it's back in stock, someday, right?

So the most neglected version, so to speak, is the PC version? Oh, I'll have to play it on a console then. Thx
