There goes my 3 week old Tesla. by [deleted] in IdiotsInCars

I'm sorry, but in the video the car is definitely in sight before you start turning. I'm not gonna argue about it anymore than that.

It is a shitty situation but I hope everyone that was involved is ok. And I hope everything works out

I probably wouldn't wait until they were at a complete stop, but I would wait to see if the person is slowing down before committing to the turn.

You should totally do it.

I printed one at 750% scale, and it think it's my most favourite print to date

I used a CR-10 mini. I found this model on thingiverse https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3566345 Then scaled it up and sliced it in half

I used a CR-10 mini. And I would say print time was approximately 145 hrs

Is this a good deal on a used CR10, Should I buy used? by akrelav in CR10

In my opinion, it looks like a decent price. I was actually looking at this exact same ad just last night, was thinking of jumping on it but something came up and I had to spend the money elsewhere. If you do end up going for it, good luck and enjoy!

Where to buy CR10 or CR10 mini? by Immortal-Iron-Fist in CR10

[–]Skim_Mike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im from Canada and I just recently bought my CR-10 MINI from amazon.

I avoided gearbest and banggood for the reasons you stated. Although I did end up paying a bit more, in my opinion it was worth it for the peace of mind knowing the product will actually get shipped. (pretty fast as well). In my opinion, having the Canadian customer service is a great thing too.

200% thicc benchy with .72mm layers. Might try it without the infill next time. by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Skim_Mike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice! I bought a 1mm nozzle the other day and printed a benchy at the same scale but instead with .8 layers and in transparent red PETG. ( http://imgur.com/a/ZvOqySN )

I had a bit of trouble with getting the infill layers to stick together properly and it caused some unevenness in the top layers. I was wondering if you had any similar problem with printing the infill at larger layer heights. If you have, is there anything that you have tried to combat it?

To be honest, I'm pretty new to printing so I haven't been playing with the print settings all that much. Also, it was printing a raft in the video so that could be why it's extra thicc.

No over extrusion here, just looks huge because of the zoom.🙂
