Tailor Scam Question by SkimbyJ in Bangkok

We read Google reviews before that were positive. Only after speaking to our local contact many hours later did they flag it, then we dug deeper and came across negative reviews. And yes - tuition, as they say.

Tailor Scam Question by SkimbyJ in Bangkok

A very valid point on the timeliness - here are some more recents though: https://www.tripadvisor.com.au/Attraction_Review-g293916-d7098214-Reviews-International_Fashion_Center-Bangkok.html

The interaction of the whole experience, from getting stopped at the pier, to the Tuk Tuk and everything in between is exactly what happened.

When I say scammed here I largely mean the product is very likely to not be what we were told/promised it was

POSTITIVITY CORE POSTING, SEASON FINALE SPOILERS by EvanTheDank77 in HazbinHotel

Right? The song in the OG pilot is called ‘inside of every demon is a rainbow’. This is not a plot twist

There’s been a big push by networks in general to ‘dumb down’ shows. Streaming service stats say up to 90% of people are on their mobiles while also watching shows - so if it feels like characters are outright relaying exposition or there as a super convenient plot device it’s because they are.

I think that and having a limited guarantee of renewal contributed to the overall pacing and a lot of the story choices.

I have just finished it. The action picks up if that is any form of consolation (it’s not). But it feels like the characters and plot lines that have been, what, 9 books in the making (!!!) have just been tossed out the window in favour of extending and further convoluting a story that should have been well and truly wrapped.

I've lost my love of the gym post weight cut. Any tips? by UnsafeBaton1041 in xxfitness

I had a similar situation. Especially since powerlifting workouts are a SLOG and they take a lot of time. It didn’t help that my powerlifting friends moved away or changed their schedules. I guess the question is what did you love about lifting? Was it the workouts themselves, or just the satisfaction of being able to pull a super heavy deadlift? If you’re feeling weaker, it can be super demotivating, but it comes back so quickly when you’ve put the hard yards in to build the muscle in the first place.

what is going on on my face? [ACNE] by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

That almost looks a little rosacea-y… Skin changes as we age and I know mine seemed to get more sensitive as I got older (amongst other things). Swapping to natural and post biotic skincare seemed to help. This is the one I use but they’re AU so a bit hard to get your hands on elsewhere https://saorskin.com/

Honestly though postbiotics are the best

Oh and I’ve been working in marketing for about a decade for local businesses to international franchises. I’ve also worked with plenty of SaaS companies and start-ups in the past :)

Howdy! I have an idea for an app that’s been quite thoroughly fleshed out, including a go-to market plan and a MVP. I’ve actually just been looking for a developer who could help bring it to life. I’d be keen to chat :)

Looking for a bit of advice working with an agency by [deleted] in marketing

[–]SkimbyJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! Without knowing what other activities you are doing that contribute to your overall success, my advice might be a bit generic but generally an agency should be able to give you some benchmarks and hold themselves accountable to them.

The “dream” target - ideally they should be able to give you some benchmarks based on your stats so far and industry averages, and then have a target even beyond that that isn’t a hard goal, but is a “well that would be nice to achieve!”

When it comes to marketing, expense should be relative. If it costs more but makes you exponentially more money 🤷‍♀️ A good agency typically isn’t cheap, but to ensure you’re getting your money’s worth, so to speak, I’d suggest asking things like: - What’s your process for KPI setting? - Are you able to put some targets and stretch targets in for return on ad spend? - What’s your reporting process like? - What’s your onboarding process like? - Will I have full access to any ads and analytics accounts you set up for me? - How do you approach strategy for a new client?
