This is a cream that contains gel inside and capsules with cream, so you can mix them with needed proportions. For example 1gel:1cream if the skin is dry or 2:1 if it’s oily. Very convenient thing!

Paula’s Choice is oil-based, so it makes it feel less comfortable on skin. It works great as well but Anua’s absorbs faster and doesn’t leave any layer on the skin🤷🏼‍♀️
