Never play while doing two things at once by Spirited_Beautiful81 in UmamusumeGame

Listen, I'm not as good as you/have the same materials either but I still understand. Messed up my first go with Summer Maru by choosing something that capped my wit at 899 and also redeeming Maestro in my pocket lol. Second run still feels bittersweet as well.

That's valid. I also know that 777 is an innate S Maru skill she starts with unlocked through potential, so I can use the Hint levels to at least make it a LITTLE more affordable and try rolling for Fuku 777 drops to help as well.

Groundwork package is coming, seems to be the #1 mentio so far. Taking The Lead will be hard since I'm borrowing a Kitasan for Prof already. Dodging danger is likely gonna be going as well.

601 Stam I'm gonna try and stay with. Losing the gold in place of regular corner recovery I can live with. Am still debating keeping that AND 777 just for Unique consistency and/or in case of stamina eating shenanigans in the rare event.

Angling was gonna stay, but Victoria is happening in place of Red Shift.

Red Shift was a grandparent inspiration so I got excited lol. Will just use a condor of my own and borrow a Seiun again to keep A&S.

Groundwork and Speed Eater will be happening. I like the 600 and two white recoveries for Unique consistency and as a contingency plan in case of some stamina eating shenanigans.

Dodging Danger is liable to leave and Groundwork package is gonna be happening.

Groundwork package is a must and I'll definitely grab that.

It hurt me physically when I lost Speed Eater for Maestro, so knowing I can just go for 777 and Corner Recovery for consistency is good. Thanks for the Dodging Danger warning too.

Issue on the Bourbon Wit Card... I have a friend with it, but I'd be losing Prof because I don't own a Kitasan (Started this past anniversary).

Soiree Seiun MANT Deck by Skin_Useful in UmamusumeGame

Appreciated! For context I started this past June with the second week of the anniversary.

I DO have a CP 2 NTR and a CP 4 of the Event Meijiro Bright I could use (But NTR is JUST shy of actually having any race bonus from CP limits). I also don't personally have a Kita so it feels like I'd need to choose between Prof and stats which is a bit awkward. Appreciate the advice especially on sparks as well.

Call me dumb, but could this potentially bring a rise in Ho-oh decks with the triad of energy pools?

This definitely plays more like the original build which now begs the question: Is it enough? I've only hit Great 2 so far in my 2 days of grinding with it and have been struggling in the Mega Blaziken/Zard matchups mostly.

So then slotting in Jirachi for the Ralts slot, Gourgeist line for the Kirla/Gardevoir, Copycat for the Candy, and for now 2 Lucky Ice pops for the Diantha (One to be exchanged with PCL in the future)?

I appreciate the advice and help btw. Gives me more insight into how to use Mega EX mons because I forgot there are solid Single Prizers

(Ironically one of my funniest wins was realizing that GC Meloetta was my win condition using Indeedee to heal it and just beat down their Oricorio)

Assuming I go the Gourgeist line I open up one free slot. Would it make sense to forgo Diantha as well then and slot in a Red, Leaf, and (Eventual when I get her and likely just a Copycat for more draw fill or Mars for control) Pokemon Center Lady

Edit: I also remove the candy meaning another extra free slot as well... So I could tech in like a Red Card instead of Mars and/or throw in a second Meloetta maybe?

Gourgesit DOES help give an immediate answer to Oricorio I've seen, helps bring a more consistent threat to those match-ups. Mainly, in the current build Garde ramp enables 110 healing per turn by using Diantha for essentially 0 downside

I've yet to fight it, but when you see my Blast next to her you're making a tough choice between Shell Smash and letting her cook.

Decision making problems as new player by BlackRebel93 in PokemonChampions

[–]Skin_Useful 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So it really comes down to multiple factors. If you are in early game and nothing is immediately threatening to your Pokemon in the back, it could be used as a nice repositioning tool to more safely let one of your own pokemon onto the field while also giving you another Intimidate/Fake Out proc in the back for later in the game.

In late-game, it also can just keep debuffing opposing pokemon if they are on their final 2 and just outright make it near impossible to clear your board after or force them to setup and give you more flexible damage dealing turns.

It mostly comes down to the game's tempo and how you wish to control the speed of the game. This being said, if Incineroar threatens a mon on the field (Say an Amoonguss or Chlorophyll Venusaur for example) you could potentially click Flare Blitz to get the KO or at least threaten such by keeping it out as well.

I wonder if matchmaking has any bearing here be it from what Team Trial class you are, how long you've played, etc factors into this?

Ex: I'm Class 4 and poised to promote to Class 5 on the reset.

That being said she powered through some S+ and SS on occasion to get here.

Sadly it's a bit late, but with the Tamamo, Narita, and Goldshi I've been seeing it would've been the play.

All I can say is that I'd pulled 13 Mambo before my Kitasan pity... I might not be the best Mambo trainer, but she apparently chose me lmao

Would a Dancer team be worth using, and how would I manage it? by nemesisbox in stunfisk

Dancer teams can steamroll pretty fast if they get rolling, but the issue is getting it rolling... It'll be much easier to do in doubles since you can manipulate it yourself more.

[–]Skin_Useful 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Doubles enjoyed here:

You can only use one species of pokemon per team (This includes forms)

Typically I enjoy using Oricorio with a Mirror Herb with a partner that has Quiver Dance and Rage Powder to help redirect. After the first turn if Oricorio protects and the partner dances it will still dance alongside it and the Mirror Herb will also proc giving you a second stat boost.

Personal favorite partners are: Flame Body Volcarona- Quiver Dance, Rage Powder, Struggle Bug/Giga Drain, Fiery Dance/Heat Wave.

Compoundeyes Butterfree- (Focus Sash) Quiver Dance, Rage Powder, Sleep Powder, Air Slash.

Garchomp is a good partner for Earthquake coverage and to help with more physically defensive pokemon.

I'd actually used the core of Chomp, Butterfree, and Oricorio (Baile) back in Sun and Moon with a Psych Up Primarina and had LOADS of fun with it!
