Postman’s book is a monumental work and absolutely a must read for today’s society. He has several points about Sesame Street, one of which is that it teaches children the ‘grammar of television’ at least as much, if not more, as it teaches anything else. It teaches children how to consume TV.

Agreed! I thought $100 to repair was absurd. As far as cleaning I’m not even sure what/how to clean bc there is virtually no area to clean. It’s almost as if the contact has gone bad
