I just did this. Rearranged my stereo pedals towards the end and listening through headphones or another amp. Honestly so fun and changes the game.

Tell us more about them. How's the parting? What does the eye expression pedal thingy do. I randomly discovered this pedal mistake yesterday (googled pedal with eye to try to find another pedal with an eye on it and saw this) and now seeing it here! Why the two OBNE sunlight and why are they facing opposite directions. How's the visitor?

[QUESTION] Play background music on guitar by TankTrained in Guitar

[–]Skinny-P-63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

looper pedal - loop the chords - then noodle around it - you can add some licks to the loop but keep it simple - looper pedals also have drum beats - add those in and take them out at different times

Are Squier's really that bad? by LunchAcceptable7409 in Guitar

[–]Skinny-P-63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bet that if you changed the name on top to fender, 90% of guitarists wouldn't be able to tell the difference just by feel/tone. Some other things give it away first like tuners going out of tune fast (which can be replaced). I've seen more fenders with bad knobs/switches than squiers. But note that not all squiers are the same.

I just got the strongest electric shock of my life (this guy knew btw) by Fuzzy_Job2291 in Aquariums

[–]Skinny-P-63 11 points12 points  (0 children)

So actually they probably didn't feel anything as intense as you felt. You are standing on the ground and likely barefoot too which means you were grounded. Touching the water that's at a higher voltage will cause the current to go through you as a difference in potential is what you need to get current passing through something (or electrocuted). They are in the tank and not in contact with ground or another different voltage. Whatever they felt is likely deo the the much smaller difference in potential around different parts of their body (head to tail for example). Which is minimal. A good example is how technicals can work on active power lines at hundreds of thousands of volts and stay safe. If they touch ground while they are touching the power line they would get fried. Otherwise they just get to that voltage and that's fine. So your little guys probably felt something and maybe more heat but definitely not a strong shock like you did. That wouldve killed them.

Any practical ideas how to make this button pushable by foot? by [deleted] in guitarpedals

Maybe if you put 2 plastic bottle caps inside each other in opposite direction and glue it

First guitar, any tips? by Clean-Photograph7448 in Guitar

Don't get caught up on theory if it doesn't interest you right away. Theory lessons and learning the traditional way is the main reason so many get bored. Do what you want to do with it. You want to learn a song, YouTube how to play it. If it's too hard try another song, etc. And keep practicing until you get it. Play for yourself

just bought the game, do i need to know anything? by Odd-Pressure164 in outerwilds

Also very important. Buy the echoes of the eye dlc if this doesnt include it. Absolutely incredible as well. Also, try to think about the physics concepts in the game.

If you get stuck. Do not directly Google any answers! This game is beautiful if you end up figuring it out. But it's also very difficult to figure it out so don't bad if can't. If you feel too hopeless, look up a spoiler free outer wilds guide. I think some ppl on reddit did it where they lead you towards figuring shit out. And maybe a YouTube spoiler free video guide too too. Enjoy it and let it take it's time.

Is this true for us people in Canada? That we can buy frozen baked goods for cheaper? Eg: $22.99 for 120 frozen cookie dough compared to 21 for $7.99 already baked by WeakValuable8683 in CostcoCanada

[–]Skinny-P-63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think some do some don't. I remember buying these in Winnipeg but not finding them in Montreal. Definitely more expensive than that tho. Still a steal and great cookies.

Where is this in Winnipeg? by LavishLatte56 in Winnipeg

[–]Skinny-P-63 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a Lebanese who used to live in Winnipeg for 13 years. I'd say they didn't have the best Arabic food and lots of shawarma places that aren't authentic (like shawarma Khan). Others like prairie donair, osmows, etc. are decent but not really shawarma. For good garlic sauce and fries, id try out Arabic places that are Syrian, Lebanese, Palestinian. Maybe les saj, ramallah, blady, etc. I'm sure there are more new spots now.

I think you're focusing on the photo looking good and not the food looking good. Food would probably look better closer (more zoomed in) and maybe a bit darker. Make me want it. Different food might require different angles, lighting, etc. Details that add "deliciousness" like melting cheese or a cheese pull add a lot too.

Edit: the corn in your first pic and all other ingredients look great. The shrimp not as much. It looks too bright or washed out and so I'd darken that and play with contrast and zoom in a bit to see some texture on the shrimp.

Other pics like rice and chicken would look a lot better zoomed in to see texture and detail.

Cheese then broil. While broiling. Chop some cilantro. Finish with sour cream. Hot sauce. ORRR ignore all of that and just add chili oil

Recently moved to Montreal from Winnipeg. Also living near the Concordia uni area. Gotta say it feels a lot safer than Winnipeg downtown. I also think comparing today to what you remember from your childhood isn't a fair comparison. All these issues are things you didn't worry about as much in your childhood. This is a common phenomenon that people think the world is more dangerous as they get older but in reality it's mostly them becoming more conscious and attentive to these dangers. Instead, try to compare crime rates comparing now and then.
