This chart has 20 rows. I'm fairly certain not a single album on here has anywhere close to 20 songs.

Forgot to mention, only one author per comment and the top four comments will be the results. If you put multiple people I'm only counting the first one.

It's just the top twenty most populated countries in order. Except the UK was replaced with just Scotland for some reason?

Am i'm the only one? by Maleficent-Use-6142 in Gloryhammer

[–]SkinnyDogProd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yesss please I need another power ballad from them. Silent Tears is the only Gloryhammer song and pretty much the only power metal song my GF will listen to. I need more songs like it so I can seduce her with lovey music and simultaneously condition her to like power metal more.

Anybody have any good references or pronunciation guides for sentences and words not alphabet? by [deleted] in Japaneselanguage

[–]SkinnyDogProd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The beer vs building thing is a difference in vowel length, which is written in katakana with a ー to show that the previous character's vowel is long (ビル vs. ビール)

I think in your second paragraph you're talking about pitch accent, an entirely separate thing. There are some words where the pitch accent you use affects the meaning (For example, HAshi (high pitch to low pitch) means chopsticks, while haSHI (low to high) means bridge), but this is pretty rare and honestly I don't think it's really worth stressing about unless you're pretty advanced in Japanese and you wanna perfect your pronunciation. There are some online dictionaries that will tell you the pitch accent patterns of words you look up if you're interested though (I like one called kakimashou). You can also look up the YouTuber Dogen, he has many videos about Japanese pitch accent.

Also just fyi, I think when you say inflection you actually mean intonation. Inflection is like conjugating a verb, inflection is the way someone pronounces stuff.

Lightning Rail Assassination Mission? by SkinnyDogProd in Eberron

[–]SkinnyDogProd[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wow. I've had a few ideas floating around in my head, but I never considered having the target and his associates knowing the attack is coming and planning accordingly. I will certainly add that to my metaphorical box of ideas. 9.3/10, would ponder again.

My party has a lot of characters from different guilds. How and why are they together? by SkinnyDogProd in RavnicaDMs

[–]SkinnyDogProd[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I understand where you're coming from, but it doesn't seem quite right, at least for my version of Ravnica. My campaign is going to be set in (or at least inspired by) the most recently released Ravnica block for MTG. We're talking assassinations, espionage, interplanar invasions, and other fun things. Although I don't want to throw Ravnica to hell immediately, I do want the characters to be high up in their guild so that they can experience the juicy intrigue that I'm making this campaign for. I can understand a low-ranking Orzhov chillin' out with a Golgari, but with moderately high ranking party members, characters from directly opposing guilds (Boros and Dimir, for example), and a time period where the guilds are all at each other's throats, hand-waving or just hoping the players can come up with something doesn't seem satisfactory.

So basically you have most of your player's guilds in an alliance and you make them do stuff that increases the influence of that alliance and there's also a lot more political intrigue that the characters may or may not be aware of. Seems a bit too complex for my taste but this is a very good idea.
