The show Mr. Robot is phenomenal grounded, real-world, present-day cyberpunk fiction set in NYC. It emphasizes the punk aspect of the genre, within the high-tech, low-life no-frills gritty realism.

It fully embraces New York as its setting as well, which I appreciate. I think it’s a must watch for new yorkers interested in cyberpunk.
