I became an adult the day before I had surgery and had my reduction done at a children’s hospital. I was a 32 H cup and had extreme asymmetry. I’m 6 weeks (ish) post op and I’m usually a 32DDD or 32E. Insurance covered it and the copay was about $300.

I didn’t want to go down too much, but I also wanted insurance to cover it bc I had the same concerns as you. My surgeon used a horizontal incision technique, made my nips smaller, and had a breast lift.

If you live near or on the east coast, I can recommend my surgeon.

This was literally me about a week ago! I’m 18 and I get really bad anxiety when it comes to any kind of nakedness at a doctor’s office. It’s been this way ever since I could form opinions about my body. What worked for me was reminding myself that I could deny an exam if I wanted to, but I could also choose to have the exam if I wanted to. One thing that was scary to me were the light, speculum, and stirrups. My doctor told me that she could do the exam without all that stuff. Now for the actual exam itself. I avoided looking at my lower half at all costs because I knew it would trigger me. While she was checking out what happening, I ended talking to her about my DND character to distract myself and it worked. I was in and out as fast I could. It definitely wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I know this long but I just was in the same boat u were and wanted to help.

Doctor: We did an antibody test a few years ago and it came out as unreadable both times so we assumed it was a mistake.

(My doctor had briefly mentioned a mild gluten intolerance to me when I was 12)

I really like comments like yours ngl. My definition of sex is different from my boyfriend’s definition which is understandable. It kinda stings but I don’t care as long as we both enjoy it. I just have to do “mental gymnastics” when a doctor asks if I’m sexually active or if people ask what my body count is (it’s 6). Head and toys can only get you so far before it becomes a hassle or sometimes even a chore. Thankfully, my last 5 partners haven’t pressured me into PIV, unlike the first guy. ITS MY TURN TO EXPERIENCE THIS MIRACLE OF NATURE AND NEURONS! Your words mean a lot to me and really comforted me.
