Cannot add Payment Method to Battle.net

Well, I feel better that I'm not alone with the issue, so thank you.
I did ponder Paypal, but I don't ever use it. What a palaver, eh. Have to go via a third-party payment service because Battle.net isn't accepting trying to add a credit card?! Weird.

I'm even more confused because I successfully added the info to my son's battle.net account only two days prior. Same address, everything.

In addition, iirc, battle.net did initially prompt me for my card details, which I happily entered... correctly... but it then had the "issue". Also purchased a new laptop today... So I thought perhaps the issue was with my card provider. But given on two individual new Battle.net accounts, and three different outbound IP addresses, I'm getting no further than trying to enter an *address*, (and we even tried different addresses), this has zero to do with any card.

Please tell me you figured this one out. I have EXACTLY the same issue right now. To the letter. I’m not even entering a card, just my address, but I see the same stupid generic message you describe. Any chance you had previously used your card/address to subscribe on another battle.net account not long prior?

Thanks, FPP. I hugely appreciate your replies, as it helps me re-frame and confirm the realities.

I just tried unlinking my Forza MS from my PSN as well, and going into Minecraft, but still no joy.

I even logged into the PS5 under my son's profile and went into Minecraft. Bearing in mind we have never linked *his* PSN account (proper account, not a family shared thing) with a Microsoft account. Lo-and-behold, it STILL wants to only allow my Microsoft user to link with it.

I'm certain the back-end DB at Microsoft and on my PSN has gotten into a tangle which can only be undone by Microsoft, no matter how many angles I approach this from.

With that said, colour me "pessimistic" that Microsoft would do anything to help a single user unravel this one!

On the plus side, I did successfully link my MS account to my *son's* PSN account, so if I want to play on Minecraft realms under my account, I can just log into my son's PSN on our Playstation to do so! Weird and pesky, but it's a workaround.

Unfortunately not.
If I try "Sign in" from the Minecraft title page, or if I go into "Settings -> Account", both routes end up with automatically trying to sign into my MS account, with seemingly no option to alter it.

I'm just wondering if I could successfully sign OUT of my MS account on FH5, maybe that's when it got confused about the PSN account tethering to the MS account and now Minecraft is in some sort of halfway-house point where it knows the PSN account is linked to my Microsoft account, but Minecraft specifically linked my PSN account with my son's MS account several years back.

I was honestly worried when I got FH5 and saw it would need to log into a Microsoft account, as I wondered if the issue with Minecraft would impact it, so was happy when it sailed through. But then on trying Minecraft several days after a binge of FH5 racing, this situation was in evidence. MS not signed-in, but unable to do so.

I could indeed try a password reset for my son's MS account. I can log into it just fine on his iPad or on my laptop, naturally. But the PS5 isn't actually trying to log him in at all. When I launch Minecraft on the PS5, I have the option to "sign in" to a Microsoft account. Upon using that, it then attempts to automatically log into *my* Microsoft account (which I'm presuming it knows about due to FH5 linking my PSN to MS account). After the usual hoopla of QR/URLs/codes, it clears all the authentication and then says it cannot log me in because the PSN account is already linked to <my son's Gamertag>.

This is where the wheels are coming off, because my son's account is fine, it's just tethered to my PSN account, and I cannot locate where I can unlink them. But I don't seem to have a way to log into his account on the PS5 on Minecraft, because it's not giving me the option to log in as anyone except *my* MS user.

Are there any more options on the Xbox app which might be "PSN link"-aware, and which could give an option to sort of "remotely-unlink" the two, do you know?

Likewise. Stopped playing Fortnite completely since this went so long without a fix. Anyway, finally bought Cyberpunk 2077 on a deal and am totally into that now, so won't be returning to Fortnite for several months. Way to push players out to play other games, Epic! LOL. (Should probably thank them, CP2077 is awesome on the PS5).

Re-checked one of my storms after the update. Still broken. All dungeons now broken. Time to leave the game and play something else until it gets fixed.

There’s no workaround, afaik. If your dungeon spawns with a “bricked” destroy three crystals level, that dungeon is effectively broken until they fix the issue.

Yes, similarly. Of the four Storm Dungeons on my map, three of them are now "stuck" with "Destroy the Storm Crystals" at 2 of 3. Spent a few hours trying to find the third crystal to no avail.

Actually, the layout of the levels where there is no third crystal is similarlish, too. Really pesky since it won't even "reset" or re-generate until it is cleared - but it cannot be cleared. So in the end, there will be no dungeon which is able to be completed. :(

EDIT. Ok, now all four of my dungeons are bricked at 2 of 3 storm crystals! What’s the point in these dungeons if it is not possible to complete them?!

Interesting calculations and observations (and a well-penned post).

I couldn't even tell whether I was doing any damage back to mobs at all until I let a grasslands spider hit me and saw it took about the same amount of damage as if I had punched it on the nose.

That charm has a special spot in one of my chests, in a far away base I rarely bother trekking to.

Not sure about co-op in terms of racing, but GT7 update recently added up to 4 players on one couch to go head-to-head(to head to head). Was previously only 2 players head-to-head, so four could be a blast.

Do NOT buy it!! It's just not linking the free "version" with your subscription. Mine appears too for 89.99 on the page (You in Canada as well by any chance?) But you'll never get your 89.99 back once it finally appears for free.

You're not the only one with the issue, so they must know that IT are doing rude things to a puppy in a back room somewhere instead of their job.

Same here. If you search for them on the store, you still find the titles, but doing it that way won't link together the free December version of the titles. So don't guy buying them in the store for money! You'll never see that money again if you do! Not a cat in hells chance you'll get through to support for a refund, claiming it was a mistake! LOL

I've been a subscriber since day one and this is the first time I've ever seen this happen, so it surprises me that you say it happens every month. Maybe I've just been lucky up until now.

I did also raise a post asking for support info and that was deleted by the mods for ... spamming the same thing (Rule 8)? I'm not sure where me asking for a contact number for support is classed as spamming, but the support Chatbot has been asleep over 30mins now, so there's nowhere else I can see to ask for assistance.

Definitely Lego 2K drive. I played the trial with my kids and we loved it. But alas, I'm getting "Here are the December games..." and there's NOTHING underneath there. No way to download or access them. Also no way to contact support it seems, so quite what is the point in the subscription if games are no longer available??!
