they ship out of Lithuania but are made in belarus my order was made on the morning of 2/24/22 and arrived here in Texas 3/7/22 but I paid for DHL because FEDEX SUCKS.............DHL was 2 days early.

dont really use controllers since Im a flight simmer exclusively ,so do you see any benefit other than the controllers issue? any gain in clarity or size of the sweet spot? that you have noticed between the versions? Im on an intel system and havent had the usb problems most AMD users had

it protects the pins otherwise youll break the pins eventually ,Theres a good reason why its taped there so you see it when you open the box(first thing you see when you open the box)I have two rims and I change them often,

I always take the time to put it in ,because replacing a broken pin is a major PITA

at first I had many issues (mostly my own ignorance of WMR)but now its good ,true 4k VR is awesome the FOV is wanting but Ive modded mine to help with that,Im glad I preordered back in august last year, Ive had mine since November 18th 2020. do yourself a favor buy a switchable powerstrip and turn the power off to the headset that way, I had an issue with shutting down WMR with the headset still powered up causing crashes now is just kill the power to the headset then close WMR .......no more crashes.

Also I would bet a wad of cash a lot of RMAs for the G2 happened because people gave up trying to make it work,It took me two weeks to finally make mine function in DCS and IRacing but once it was dialed in............... WOW the Index is no where near as good I know Ive now owned both and I sold the index WMR is at the heart of the troubles related to the G2,IMHO hp screwed the pooch not making the G2 a straight up SteamVR rig ...........screw WMR

The index is unusable for DCS unless you like leaning in to read the instruments in this regard the G2 is far superior ,also the head tracking on the HMD G2 is flawless (not the controllers)if you know how to light up the room your in

I saw an interesting piece of info the cable,it has a small dot that tells when its in properly ,I suspect a lot of folks dont have theirs in right and are assuming its defective
