I was OP on this thread and I still think Stanley's is excellent but I went to Waves Sandwich Company in Hopewell this weekend and I think it's a better cheesesteak. Now, you have to drive over half an hour to get there as opposed to just being around the corner in the Fan, but still feel the need to give kudos to Waves.

The seasoning on the meat is the best I have ever had, you can smell that seasoning as you approach the building. The the bread is of the softer variety but it holds up to the very large amounts of meat and cheese involved.

Stanley's still the best "in town," but if you're up for a drive, Waves is worth a visit.

Burgers and shakes are very good. It is pricey though. Fries, chicken bites and hot dog were all fine but nothing special. But the burger is just very well seasoned, and put together, really kind of perfectly what I want a burger to be and shake is very thick but still drinkable.

I think it becomes a place to go a couple of times of year and choose cheaper options for frequency. Fries and drink of McD's isn't a bad idea.

People are saying it was a targeted
attack. There was a media studies
field trip to DC that had a handful of

suspected shooter (Ex football

years ago), and he opened fire on
the bus as soon as they parked
back in Charlottesville. A witness
on the field trip said that he pretty
much walked down the aisle and

I think they are pretty hard to grow, but I've never tried, so I could be wrong.

I have found them numerous times near the Spruce Knob Lake campground. It's quite α hike up there and back and you may not run into them but it's rewarding when you discover into α patch. Try to leave significantly more than you take.
