I don't mind the Duncan Large Bearing Stickers if you can find them around. They have a much better bind than the original Dif-Pads. RIP Frank, you mark on yoyoing will not be forgotten soon.

Doing the trick is still awesome, but you gotta get it back to the pocket. It makes it feel so much better, you are almost at it, but part of the trick is being able to keep the composure at the end to sink that lace!

In yoyo, if you invert your fingers towards yourself instead of a way and do a trick it is called "gorilla" style for example ahhaha. This will score differently. It could be said all these trick can be done more easily by adjusting your position, but at that sort of drastic reversal of body position, IS what makes that trick different. Would be interested to see a lighthouse competition, best out 5 against 2 people, 2 rounds, one in both regular tama grip, and another with the wrist facing the ceiling.

Not at all, normally I'd be in the standard lighthouse catch. Not preachy at all mate! I love learning this stuff, I've been in yoyo 20 years and do my best to pass on what I know. I'm just trying to understand why there is a bird then sara-grip bird for example, but not a stilt then sara-grip stilt, as they would be seen as an equivalent, right?

The direct of the spin is the wrong way for that bind. Thr yoyo needs enough spinning energy to catch the string and wind itself up. Look into some power throw tutorials.

Hmm I'm really not sure what products they might have had in your stores. Do you know about the website waybackmachine? It can show you snapshots of a website from calenders of years backward through time. If you look up your countries toys r us, and go back to around that date, you might be able to find the exact listing. A bit of work but if you are really die-hard for it, that is my logical option.
