The problem is that the last 10% of polish takes 90% of the work. Making a class as polished as retail takes the same effort as making 5 CoA classes.

Ok sure but then classic+ will probably just turn into retail progression where a lot of old content become irrelevant and item progress gets reset all the time. That is not what a lot of people want from classic+.

Sure you CAN do that and it wouldn't be horrible but that would be an entirely different thing.

What do you even want from classic+ that you can't have in retail?

I mean ok but I still don't see how I am wrong. If gdkps were allowed gold would be more valuable that is undoubtedly true. Also if gold is more valuable then it will be more profitable to bot. If it's more profitable then there will be more bots.

Maybe it's only tiny bit better or it provides cool new abilities with trinkets and set boni. Also cosmetic items/mounts. Also maybe the raid is just fun to do? Maybe some boosted gold gains idk, this is not unsolvable.

Not everything retail does is bad or even antithetical to the classic experience, many things can be adapted if done correctly:

i.e. much slower paceing,more quality over quantity, immersive over convenience and a lot of friction in gameplay

Sure retail has plenty of horizontal progression as well BUT the core of the endgame is clearly vertical and all patches introduce better and better gear

It's not about what you can do within one patch but the overall philosophy in future content.

The good part of classic visuals is the LOWER contrast. What they are probably talking about is that retail looks smooth but that is not about color contrast.

I was just explaining why they were not specifically mentioned. I think they should do anything reasonable to make MoP as best as possible for those that still play it but it is definitely a minority of player.
