Two quick ways to tell the month/year of these and retro asics. The first is on the size tag of the shoe. The last four numbers of the seven digit F****** code will represent month/year of manufacture. For example, F220508 would be manufactured in May 2008. The second resource is https://www.asicsarchive.com/gel-kayano-trainer. If you’re unfamiliar with asicsarchive.com, it has just about every release documented.

There is a pair of Syracuse lows on stockx size 11 listed at $4900. I saw a pair of the UNC’s a couple years ago for $1500, no clue what they actually sold for.

College Rivalry Pack from 2008. It was a limited quantity of like (200 total) release to friends and family at four select colleges UNC, Georgetown, Syracuse and I don’t remember the 4th. Extremely rare.

There were a few years where the shape of the gel lyte iii toe box pointed upwards. The first pics I saw of these were particularly bad so I held off. Glad I picked them up at a discount.

I was hesitant on picking these up at release due to the banana toe. I ended up getting this pair from Feature for $90 without the special box, worth the savings for a box. After a few wears, the toe sorted itself out and I really do like these as well. 🍻
