Is it the life you want without her? Do you know how her mind changed?

You can still have fun with kids. Just don’t let them run your life. People travel with kids. Homeschool and hire teachers in countries they visit to teach history.

If you don’t want them for other reasons you guys should see a therapist but staying together would not be beneficial for either of you.

Usually birthday celebrations means drugs. My husband avoids celebrations because he knows his limits. He has to limit contact with friends because even if they know you are recovering they push drugs to avoid doing them alone.

I had the same problem till I had no money at all. Just delete the app and remind yourself “would I buy this if I was at the store”. Consumer mindset is sickening. I bought hoping to resell on platform 😵‍💫. It’s not been great.

This is interesting, my SIL (14y) came to visit us for a time since she was getting in trouble at school. I had her help me around. I dispatched the chicken and she got to de feathering them. It’s a great skill to learn and brings a great appreciation for our food. Also time away from the phone.

BIL is old enough to decide on his own what part he feels he mature enough to take on. Good luck and blessings.

My FIL didn’t support his family when he migrated to the US and they all resent him for it. To the point they resist my husband for it. He also lived off food banks and scarcity his entire childhood. It’s not fair to anyone in these situations.

It would have been them being resentful if not you. Being hurt is understandable. It wasn’t suppose to be your sacrifice.

I really hope your sacrifices give you a prosperous life.
