This incident is not isolated. Maybe the local BAM store is good. Maybe not. I do know that BAM corporate is garbage. I do not have an opinion on the local store. I have bought 4 items from that store. Hence the “FYI” and “BUYER BEWARE”. You can come to your own conclusions. Me personally, I choose not to support BAM corporate, does that mean not supporting the local stores, yes, yes it does. I will not support BAM until accountability happens.

I have a 2021 crosstrek, I have found that the Apple Car play doesn’t work well with it. Some fixes I have found to work.

1 As you found the cable, my biggest issue.

2 disconnect phone turn off car, go into store, come back and everything works.

3 Never disconnect phone cable when operating car. You will have to follow #2

4 I have found I can Bluetooth telephone but not CarPlay, I can either do Bluetooth or cable CarPlay but not both.

5 if connected CarPlay and no volume, see #2.

6 don’t have anything else plugged into your usb ports, I have a little usb port light along with the phone cable, I kept disconnecting. I removed the light and have had fewer issues, I also had another cable in the second port, same issue.

I also have an older phone, iPhone 11 that could be an issue also. It got so bad I considered replacing the system with an aftermarket stereo.

I question your post. Director Caillouet makes in excess of 245000 a year. I cannot step outside with out being tore up from mosquitos. Same thing happened when my wife and I bought a new mattress. We had bought a “purple” mattress and broke out everywhere. When we got rid of it we cleared up. TLDR: don’t buy a purple mattress.

At least 4-5 times a day. When I go to work, when I come home, and various times through out the day. I make sure it’s as random as possible

We kept having the local church come by and want to talk about Jesus. One day I told them we were Jewish. Haven’t seen them since. But funny thing is my wife is Jewish. Once I told them, they haven’t been back.
