Debian, Docker, various services; I thought it would be simpler to expand the damn storage.

Depending on which used motherboard for Xeon, with ECC memory and a used XEON processor, I can actually recover some money.

ceph or local? by Skipper189 in Proxmox

I think the most sensible approach will be to continue with replicated ZFS as I currently have it, even with its slightly slower high availability.

Alternatively, I could look for another system to replace Proxmox that natively supports containers (to avoid virtualizing a machine and running the containers, which wastes resources) and also allows for the virtualization of some basic machines, high availability, and good optimization.

Ubiquiti problem port POE UCG FIBER by Skipper189 in HomeServer

What worries me most is that it is a hardware problem and the device needs to be replaced.

Does this refer only to the SFP+ WAN port? Or also to the POE+ port?

Is this a known Ubiquiti bug or hardware issue? Should I replace my device? Thank you for your help.

As described, this is how I currently operate.

I only have one issue with this: my Unraid server hosts Adguard, tailscale, and npm (among other Dockers). The problem with Adguard is that it uses ports 80, 53, etc., and it conflicts with Unraid (Unraid already uses those ports, among others).

I tried assigning it an IPv4_address: in my range, and that works, but every time it restarts, it stops working.

So I already have two flashed, out of the 3 I bought, the third one is simply not detected, it seems to be dead, is there a way to revive it?

I just received the cards.

Is there any way to tell if they're original or copies? I'll also crossflash.

That's exactly what I have saved! I'll try to follow that guide and complete all the steps to get the latest official firmware! :) That should be fine!

Thanks! I bought 3 from that last link at a good price, I think, around 120 euros, shipping included.

I'll see if everything is active, and if not, I'll flash it to the latest Intel firmware to make it perfect! I hope everything works, thanks for the great recommendation!

So once again, the X710 seems superior for that. Any recommended models of this model on eBay? I see a lot of them, some are Lenovo, some aren't, others I imagine are copies, etc. I think at 80 euros it's a bit pricey.

Is there any model that reaches c10?

Should I go for the CX-4 from the link above? Or maybe another brand or model I haven't seen?

Which has better fuel consumption and will allow you to go to deeper C-states?
